Leading for High Performance
Our new research project ‘Leading for High Performance’ is looking at the nature of leadership required to achieve sustainable high performance in organisations
We are working with seven leading organisations to provide ground-breaking insights into how effective leaders deal with the challenges and opportunities of today’s organisations and indicate ways in which high performance leadership can be developed within and across organisations.
Our sponsors of the project are:
BAE Systems
EDF Energy
Guardian Media Group
RBS
Serco
TESCO
Unilever
A project steering group meets regularly to bring together HR/learning and development experts from each sponsor organisation with The Work Foundation’s leadership programme team. We are working closely with this core sponsor group to consult on our approach and test out our emerging findings.
Anticipated outputs of the project will be:
- Final report and executive summary (printed and available for download on the web) due out Sept 2010;
- Interim report on findings into leadership ‘being’ due out November 2008
- Range of events including a national launch event and round table discussions and conferences to disseminate the findings;
- Papers and presentations drawing on findings.
- Interim report on Stage 1 findings due out May 2009
