Prateek is a researcher at the Big Innovation Centre. His multi-disciplined research interests include public-private innovation partnerships, open innovation in the context of creating ecosystems, technological innovation and trajectories, technological road maps and public policy research.
Prior to the Big Innovation Centre, Prateek worked on the European Commission Framework Programme 7 (FP7) project, where he researched best practices of knowledge and technology transfer through public-private innovation partnerships. This involved examining new emerging forms of SME-support mechanisms across the world with a particular focus on Europe. He also worked briefly on other FP7 technical projects which focused on networked control systems.
Prateek holds a BEng in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Pune, India and an MSc from the University of Sussex in Technology and Innovation Management.
